Right after unveiling the new Mi NoteBook 14 in India, Xiaomi has launched Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced version in China. As the name suggests it is an enhanced version of already existing 15.6-inch Xiaomi Notebook. It comes with some pretty notable upgrade over its predecessor. Design and Display
Like the notebook that it is succeeding, Xiaomi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced edition comes with an anti-pressure all-metal body. The chassis is made up of a Magnesium alloy. It features a 15.6-inch LCD screen. The bezels on the sides are slimmer than that on the bottom and top of the screen. Overall, the device maintains screen to body ratio of 81.5%.
The display covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. It has a viewing angle of 178-degree. The screen is protected by the 3rd Generation Corning Gorilla Glass technology. Unlike the Mi NoteBook 14 launched in India, this one comes with an integrated webcam, which sits on top of the screen.
Keyboard and TouchPad
The new Xiaomi Notebook uses a keyboard with scissor-switch keys. The brand is calling it a full-size keyboard but it doesn’t have a dedicated numeric keypad. The buttons that are on there are placed at a distance of 19.5mm from their adjacent ones. Each button has key distance travel of 1.5mm.
The touchpad is 6-inches wide and comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. It also is a Microsoft Precision touchpad which means users will be able to enjoy additional Windows 10 gestures.
Performance and Memory
The Xiaomi Notebook 15 is powered by 10 Gen Intel Comet Lake Process. Users can choose between a Core i5 -10210U and a Core i7 – 10510U variant. Both the processors possess four cores and eight threads. With both of the variants, users get an entry-level NVIDIA GeForce MX350 dedicated GPU.
The Core i7 variants come with 16GB of RAM while it is limited to 8GB in the Core i5 variants. Both variants are available in two memory configurations – 512GB or 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD. Xiaomi has included an M.2 SSD extension slot for storage upgrades.
Battery, Ports, and Others
The device features a 60 Watt-hour lithium-ion battery with support for 1C fast charging. Xiaomi assures that the battery can be filled from 0 to 50% in around 40 minutes. Once fully charged the device can last up to 17 hours of video playback, or 12 hours of web-browsing. You get two USB Type-C ports, one of which supports charging. Unfortunately, the other one doesn’t support Thunderbolt 3. Other than that, you have two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm jack.

Xiaomi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced edition is available for order in China where its starting price is 6000 Yuan (US$850) while the price of the top-end model is 7000 Yuan (US$1000).
We expect the price of Core i5 variant of Xiaomi Notebook Pro 15 in Nepal to be NPR. 1,05,000 and NPR. 1,15,000 for 512GB and 1TB storage respectively. Similarly, the price of the Core i7 variant should be around NPR. 1,20,000 and NPR. 1,25,000 of 512GB and 1TB variant, respectively.
