Hamro Patro Enters the OTT Market
Film Acquisition and Royalties
The platform will buy films from producers and implement a royalty-based model, where earnings will be distributed based on the number of views each film receives. However, It remains uncertain whether existing subscribers will gain access to the OTT service or if Hamro Patro will introduce a separate subscription model.
Platform Integration vs. Separate App
Hamro Patro has not confirmed whether the streaming service will be integrated into the existing app or launched as a standalone OTT platform. A similar strategy was previously seen with Hamro Pay, which started within the main app but later became a separate service.
