Honor has officially unveiled the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design in China, alongside the Magic 8 Pro Air. With this launch, Honor further expands its Magic 8 lineup, which already includes the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro introduced last year. In this article, we’ll take a look at the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design, including its features, specifications, and expected price in Nepal.
Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design Overview:
Design and Display
The Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design continues HONOR’s partnership with Porsche Design, inspired by Porsche supercars. It has a rear nano-ceramic panel with a Mohs hardness of 8.5 for improved scratch resistance. Roughly 10% lighter than its predecessor, it’s more comfortable to hold. The camera module mimics Porsche headlights, giving the phone a bold look.

On the front, the device sports a 6.71-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It delivers an impressive peak HDR brightness of up to 6,000 nits and supports Dolby Vision for enhanced visual quality. The display also features 4,320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain and is protected by Giant Rhino Glass.
Camera
As for the optics, the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design features a versatile camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.6, OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (122° FOV), and a 200MP telephoto sensor (f/2.6, OIS, 3.7x zoom). It is the first to achieve a CIPA 6.5 stabilization rating and supports an external 200mm Nox telephoto lens. For selfies, you get a 50MP front camera and a 3D depth sensor for Face Unlock.

Performance, Battery, and Others
Under the hood, the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This 3nm fabbed SoC features 3rd Gen Oryon CPU cores with prime cores up to 4.65GHz, delivering significant CPU/GPU boosts (20-23%) and power efficiency. It is available with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
