Oppo has expanded its Reno15 series in the European market with the introduction of the Reno15 FS. The Reno series has always been known as something you’d be buy for portrait photography and its aesthetics, but it seems like the "FS" variant is taking a slightly different turn. It sits as a modified, somewhat twin to the Reno15 F, but with high storage and refined durability. Here’s a deep dive into the Oppo Reno15 FS, its specifications, and what we can expect regarding its availability in Nepal.

      Oppo Reno15 FS Overview

      Display and Design

      undefined

The Reno15 FS features a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s a classic Oppo display, vibrant, color-accurate, and bright enough for normal use. Interestingly, despite being a mid-range "S" model, it still maintains a premium IP68/IP69  rating. The design remains consistent with the "Aurora Vitality" aesthetic, available in striking Blue and Navy Blue finishes. It features alumunium frame, and glass on both back and front. Whereas, the front glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass+.

      Performance

Under the hood, Oppo has opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4nm). While people might have hoped for a 7-series chip, the 6 Gen 1 is a deliberate choice for this specific segment. Albeit, this isn’t even the first device Oppo has gone for it. It was already featured in Oppo Reno 13 F and 14 F. Anyway, it’s still a decent chipset, and besides, you also get a 6,500mAh battery with an 80W charger. But it's still lower than what you get compared to the 7000 mAh in the Reno 15 F. On the other hand,  FS is being sold primarily in an 8GB RAM and 512GB storage trim.

      Camera

Coming to the optics department, you will find a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a feature that is becoming a "must-have" in the mid-range to compete with Samsung's A-series. For selfies, you get a 50MP camera. And oh by the way, it also supports 4K video recording and Oppo's signature AI portrait retouching.

Oppo Reno15 FS Price in Nepal and Availability

The Reno15 FS is currently retailing in Poland for PLN 1,600 and Italy for €470. Given Oppo Nepal's history, they usually prefer the "F" or "Standard" iterations over the European "FS" versions. However, if the Reno15 FS does make it to Nepal (perhaps rebranded or as a specific high-storage variant), we can expect it to be positioned in the competitive sub-60K segment.
