Along with the POCO F8 and F8 Ultra, they have also introduced the all-new POCO Pad M1. It has a 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K IPS display, a large 12,000mAh battery, and a powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Okay, so in this article, I will discuss everything about the POCO Pad M1, including its specifications, features, and the expected price in Nepal.
POCO Pad M1 Overview
Build and Design

Okay, talking about the tablet's build, the POCO Pad M1 closely resembles the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, measuring 279.8 x 181.65 x 7.5 mm and weighing around 610g. It comes with a unibody metal design that looks and feels genuinely premium in the hand. For colors, you get two options: Grey and Blue.
Display

One of the biggest highlights of this tablet is definitely its display. You’re getting a large 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2.5K (2560 x 1600) resolution and 249 PPI. It also supports a fast 120Hz refresh rate, so everything feels smoother to use. In terms of brightness, it typically hits 500 nits and can go up to 600 nits in High Brightness Mode.
POCO has also added some nice touches in this Pad M1, such as DC Dimming and 4096-level brightness adjustment. Plus, the panel also supports Dolby Vision, which enhances the HDR viewing experience.
For certifications, POCO has gone all in, offering TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free, TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly, and even Wet Touch Technology support.
Performance

Okay, talking about performance, the POCO Pad M1 comes with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a 4nm octa-core CPU. It includes one prime core at 2.7GHz, three performance cores at 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. The Adreno 810 GPU handles the graphics.
For memory, the tablet offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with expandable storage up to 2TB.
Audio and Camera

For the speakers, we get a quad-speaker setup here, which is honestly one of the best parts of this tablet. In terms of placement, there are two speakers at the top and two at the bottom, all tuned with Dolby Atmos. POCO also mentions a “300% audio boost,” which sounds more like marketing than anything real. We also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is pretty rare these days.
Both the front and rear cameras are 8MP. The rear camera comes with an LED flash and a color spectrum sensor. For video recording, it maxes out at 1080p at 30fps on both sides.
The rest..
Okay, the best part about this tablet is definitely its 12,000mAh battery, paired with 33W wired fast charging. With a battery this big, it should easily last up to a full day regardless of your usage pattern. What’s interesting is that POCO has also included 27W reverse charging, which is a nice bonus.
For software, the tablet runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2. Lastly, connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
