It is a budget laptop, however, it might not be as obvious by the looks of it. This laptop comes in a monotone design with minimal company branding on the lid. It is quite boxy and ships in a single dark grey colour option. Additionally, it features a backlit but TKL keyboard as it is a smaller laptop. As the name suggests, this laptop houses a 14-inch screen. Acer Aspire 14 (A14-51P) has an IPS LCD panel and comes in a ComfyView (matte) finish. Meanwhile, it stretches WUXGA in resolution while having the standard 60Hz refresh rate. Moving on, we get a decent selection of ports for wired connection. This includes one Thunderbolt 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (one with power-off USB charging), one HDMI 2.1 port, and one 3.5mm headphone jack.

Performance

The Acer Aspire 14 (A14-51P) houses the Intel Core 5 120U processor. It is a recently launched silicon with ten cores, 12 threads, and a 12MB cache. Additionally, this CPU clocks in at a maximum frequency of 5.0 GHz. On the other hand, the graphics on this laptop are handled by the integrated Intel graphics. Moreover, it is also an AI-ready processor offering on-device AI capabilities. Other than that, you get an 16GB LPDDR5-4800 RAM. Along with this, you get a 512GB NVMe Gen 4 SSD for storage. 

The company does not mention anything about the upgradability of the laptop, which suggests that there isn't any. For wireless connectivity, the Acer Aspire 14 (A14-51P) supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. In the meantime, this laptop draws its power from a 50Wh battery.
