Display and Design

For the design, the Acer Nitro 16S AI’s design is something we have seen before. It brings that fairly clean and modern design that distinguishes Acer Nitro laptops. And since that “S” in its name means “Slim,” that means this gaming laptop weighs around 2.18kg.

For the display, the all-new Nitro 16S AI 2025 comes with a 16-inch IPS display. It offers WQXGA resolution and supports a fast refresh rate of 180Hz. Additionally, it covers 100% sRGB color coverage and provides 400 nits of brightness.

Performance and Gaming

It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. It includes 10 cores and 20 threads with a max boost up to 5.0GHz. In addition, it supports AI acceleration of up to 50 TOPs for the NPU and an overall TOPS of 73 TOPs.

Acer has equipped this laptop with the all-new RTX 5070 GPU. It comes with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Furthermore, this GPU aims at mid-to-high performance levels.

The Nitro 16S AI offers 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz. It also features a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD.

Battery and Rest

The device packs a mid-size 76Wh 4-cell lithium-ion battery. It includes a 230W power adapter. The keyboard has a 4-zone RGB backlight. The ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A Ports, one USB 2.0 Port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Port, one HDMI, Ethernet, SD-Card slot and an audio jack. Furthermore, it supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
