Design and Display

The Swift X 16 (2023) has a minimal design with an aluminum chassis that weighs roughly 1.9 kg. Compared to the previous model, the brand has increased the trackpad's surface area by 33%. Interestingly, it's the largest touchpad among Acer’s current laptops, says the company itself. On the other hand, you also get a full-sized keyboard with a dedicated numpad and backlighting.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000-series processors. With a Zen 4 and RDNA 3-based APU, you can choose from Ryzen 5 7535HS all the way to Ryzen 9 7940H. For graphics, a Radeon 780M GPU has been integrated, but you can optionally add up to an RTX 4050 dedicated GPU. To keep the thermals under control, Acer has used a redesigned thermal layout. This new design uses TwinAir cooling with dual D6 Cooper heat pipes for sustained performance. There are also four fan speeds—Silent, Normal, Performance, and Turbo—to choose from. Memory-wise, the laptop comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a storage capacity of up to 2TB SSD.
