Apple Mac Mini M6 (2026)

Mac Mini M6 Overview

Design

The new Mac mini maintains Apple’s ultra-compact desktop design, measuring 12.7 cm on each side and standing 5 cm tall. The M6 version weighs 0.67 kg (1.5 pounds). The overall look resembles the Mac Studio but with a smaller footprint, focusing on simplicity and portability.

Performance

Apple offers the M6 chip configuration powered by the Apple M6 chip, which features a 12-core CPU with 2 super cores, 4 performance cores, and 6 efficiency cores, paired with a 12-core GPU supporting hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Neural Accelerators. For memory and storage, the M6 models support 16GB or 24GB of unified memory (configurable up to 32GB) with memory bandwidth scaling from 153GB/s to 170GB/s and offer storage options starting at 256GB or 512GB SSD, scalable up to 2TB.

I/O and Connectivity

The front of the Mac mini includes two USB-C ports with support for USB 3 (up to 10Gb/s) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack with advanced support for high-impedance headphones. On the back, users will find three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports—along with an HDMI port, one 2.5Gb Ethernet port (upgradable to 10Gb), and a power socket.

Wireless options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread networking technology, supported by the Apple N1 wireless networking chip for fast and stable connections. The system runs on macOS, incorporating the latest Apple Intelligence and Siri AI features for better functionality.
