The VivoBook 14 X1407QA comes with an aluminum chassis in various finishes, including Cool Silver, Quiet Blue, Matte Gray, and Platinum Gold. It measures 1.79-1.99 cm thick and weighs around 1.49 kg, making it fairly portable. The 14-inch display uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more vertical space than standard 16:9 screens. It's a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) WVA IPS panel with 300 nits brightness and an anti-glare coating.

 Performance and Hardware 

Inside this beast features a Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor. This chip has 8 cores that boost up to 3.0 GHz. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8448 MT/s, but it's soldered, so you can't upgrade it later. Storage is handled by a 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. 

Graphics are handled by the integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU. It won't compete with dedicated graphics cards, but it's fine for productivity work and media consumption. The standout feature here is the Hexagon NPU with 45 TOPS of AI performance, which powers Windows Copilot+ features and handles on-device AI tasks. 

Battery and Connectivity

The 50Wh battery featured in this laptop delivers up to 17 hours of video playback, and Asus claims up to 28 hours under optimal conditions. For charging, ASUS ships this guy with a 65W adapter.

For wireless connectivity, we get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Port selection includes two USB4 Type-C ports (40 Gbps) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headset jack. Other features include a 1080p FHD IR webcam. The keyboard is backlit and includes a dedicated Copilot key
