Blackview Tab 18 Overview
Display and Design
The Tab 18 features a 12-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2.4K resolution. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and holds a TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification to help with eye strain during long reading sessions. The design is fairly standard for a tablet, featuring a slim 7.9mm profile and an aluminum alloy back available in Space Grey, Glacier Blue, and Turquoise Green.
Performance and Audio
Under the hood, it uses the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is a common choice for tablets in this price range. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded to 24GB. One of its main selling points is the quad-speaker setup tuned by Harman Kardon, which works alongside Widevine L1 support to allow 1080p streaming on apps like Netflix.
Camera and Battery
The camera setup includes a 16MP primary sensor on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls. To keep things running, there is an 8,800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It runs on Android 13, which includes a dedicated PC Mode 2.0 for a desktop-like interface.
