Compact Design and Display

The standout feature of the Tab 60 is its 8.68-inch IPS LCD screen. This smaller form factor allows the device to be significantly more portable than its 10-inch siblings, weighing just 338 grams. The display features an HD+ resolution (1340 x 800) with a 5:3 aspect ratio, which is particularly comfortable for reading and scrolling through social media. Despite its budget positioning, the screen is TUV SUD Low Blue Light certified, meaning less eye strain during long reading days.

Performance and Connectivity

Under the hood, the Tab 60 is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T606 chipset. This 12nm octa-core processor is a staple in Blackview’s budget lineup because it provides a stable experience for everyday tasks like web browsing, video streaming, and so on. 

In Nepal, the tablet is typically available with 6GB of physical RAM, which can be expanded up to 20GB via virtual RAM expansion. It comes with 128GB of internal storage, and unlike many modern devices, it retains a microSD card slot for expansion up to 1TB. Crucially, the Tab 60 also supports 4G LTE connectivity

Battery and Camera

To keep the device running, Blackview has packed a 6,050mAh battery. While smaller than the batteries found in 11-inch tablets, it is quite substantial for an 8.6-inch device and easily delivers a full day of mixed use. It supports 10W charging via a USB-C port. For photography and video calls, the tablet features an 8MP Sony rear camera and a 5MP front camera, which are sufficient for scanning documents or hopping on a Zoom meeting.
