Design and Display

The Blackview Tab 70 WiFi features a standard 10.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a WUXGA resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. While the resolution is basic, the inclusion of Widevine L1 certification is a major highlight, it allows users to stream content from platforms like Netflix and Disney+ in high definition. The build is primarily plastic and it comes in two distinct colors: Space Grey and Twilight Blue.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Rockchip RK3562 quad-core chipset. This is an entry-level processor designed for low-intensity tasks like web browsing, online classes, and video playback. It is paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Storage sits at 64GB, but a dedicated microSD slot allows for expansion up to 1TB. The tablet runs on DokeOS_P 3.0, based on Android 13, which offers features like PC Mode and split-screen multitasking.

Connectivity and Battery

The device also supports WiFi 6, providing more stable and faster internet connections compared to older standards. Since this is a WiFi-only model, it does not support SIM cards or GPS. Powering the device is a 6,580mAh battery that supports 10W charging. According to Blackview, this is enough for roughly 6 hours of continuous video playback or over 100 hours of standby.
