Design
Starting with the fit, the boAt Airdopes 181 uses an in-ear design with a touch-controlled stem. It provides a basic IPX4 rating for sweat and water protection. Additionally, the case is spherocuboid in shape and doesn’t provide any ingress protection rating. Four color options are provided here: Carbon Black, Bold Blue, Cool Grey, and Spirit White.
Audio
For the audio, the Airdopes 181 brings you 10-mm dynamic drivers. Moreover, the ENx tech makes the calls clearer and provides a good call experience, according to the company. Another highlight is the gaming mode, which they call BEAST mode, which promises to reduce the latency to 60 ms for gamers out there.
Battery
Moving on to the battery, the boAt Airdopes 181 is powered by a 35 mAh battery that backs up your music for 4 hours. Further, the 300 mAh case increases the backup to 20 hours. Charging for even 10 minutes gives you 90 minutes of playback in Airdopes 181, thanks to ASAP charging. In addition to that, the buds themselves take around 45 minutes to an hour to charge. Likewise, the charging case charges within 1.5 hours.
