Dell 14 DC14255 2025 (Ryzen AI 5 330, 16GB, 1TB, 14" FHD+)

As we already know, Dell has recently renamed and reclassified its laptop lines into three main categories: Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. Now, we have a new entry from Dell: the Dell 14 (DC14255), featuring the latest AMD Ryzen AI processor and AMD Radeon Graphics.

Performance, Memory, AI features

The Dell 14 comes with AMD's latest Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, i.e, the AMD Ryzen AI 5 330, with a total of 4 cores and 8 threads. It has a turbo frequency of 4.5 GHz and a configurable TDP of 15-28W to feed. Talking about the graphics, Graphics are handled by the integrated AMD Radeon 820M with a maximum frequency of 2800 MHz.

We also get 16GB of DDR5 RAM with a blazing-fast 5600 MT/s and a 16GB NVMe SSD for storage.

We also get a dedicated NPU for processing all kinds of system-level AI workloads, delivering 56 TOPS of performance. Some notable AI features include Live Caption, Co-Create, and Windows Studio Effects.

Design and Display

Regarding the design, the device weighs 1.59 kg and is available in a single platinum silver.

For display, we get a 14-inch FHD+ (1920x 1200) IPS display. This display comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC color gamut, and a software-driven ComfortView Plus feature to protect our eyes from blue light.

Connectivity

The Dell 14 Plus (DC14255) comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. For Physical connectivity, it has two USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and power delivery, one HDMI 1.4, and lastly 1 Universal Audio jack.
