Dell 16 Plus DB16250 2025 (Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, 16GB, 1TB, 16" WQXGA)

As we know already, Dell has recently renamed and reclassified its laptop lines into three main categories, i.e, Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. Now, we have a new entry from Dell with its new Dell 16 Plus (DB16250), featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra Series processor along with Intel Arc Graphics.

Performance, Memory, AI features

The Dell 16 Plus comes with Intel's latest Series 2 processor, i.e, the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, with a total of 8 cores (4 performance + 4 efficient ) and 8 threads. It has a turbo frequency of 4.8 GHz and 37W of maximum turbo power to feed. Talking about the graphics, Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel Arc 140V with a maximum frequency of 1.95 GHz.

We get either a 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with a blazing fast 8533MT/s and 1 TB of NVMe SSD, as per the configuration you get.

We also get a dedicated NPU for processing all kinds of system-based AI workloads with 47 TOPS of performance. Some notable AI features include Live Caption, Co-Create, and Windows Studio Effects.

Design and Display

Talking about the design, we get a premium design with an Aluminium top lid and base. For its weight, the device weighs just 1.87kg and even comes with a 180-degree hinge. The device is available in a single Platinum Silver finish.

For display, we get a 16-inch 2.5k (2560 x 1600) IPS display. This display comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC color, and a software-driven ComfortView Plus display to protect our eyes from blue light.

Connectivity

The Dell 16 Plus (DB16250) comes with Wi-Fi 7 BE201 (2X2) and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity. For Physical connectivity, it has one USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and one Thunderbolt 4 port with DP 2.1 and power delivery, one HDMI 2.1, and lastly 1 Universal Audio jack.
