Design

The DJI Flip as aforementioned has a compact body, weighing less than 249 grams. So, just like the Neo guy, it fits in the palm of your hand. The interesting design change here is that the rotor blades now come with a full-coverage guard and it’s foldable too. So, you can easily carry it without having to worry and its safe around children too.

1/1.3-inch CMOS Sensor

The DJI Flip houses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with Dual Native ISO Fusion onboard which can shoot up to 4K/60fps HDR videos with 3-axis gimbal stabilization. For the growing vertical videos on Reels and TikTok, it can shoot at 2.7k resolution. For stills, you can capture 48MP shots, with up to 4x zoom capabilities.

DJI claims vibrant imagery with enhanced detail in highlights and shadows. On top of that, it can do AI subject tracking to capture you or your subject at the best angle. Plus, you also get to choose between various flight modes: Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Helix, Boomerang, and Spotlight. Just tap the button, and the rest will be handled by this thing automatically without having to use a remote control.

Battery and Others

This new drone packs a 3110mAh battery which can provide you up to 31 minutes of flight time. Other features include Voice Control through the DJI Fly app, triggering it to take a lift. When connected to the smartphone, it will use your phone’s mic. Likewise, the app also lets you transfer the footage from the drone to your phone. And then, you can edit it on the go.
