      DJI Mini 4 Pro Overview:

      48MP Camera Sensor

The Mini 4 Pro drone sports a 48MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 24mm equivalent focal length. It is capable of shooting slow motion at 4K @100 fps or at 1080p @200fps and normal footage at 4K @60fps. Likewise, the Mini 4 Pro can shoot HDR video at up to 4K @60fps. Furthermore, the stills at captured at full 48MP resolution. Other features include 180°, Wide Angle, Vertical, and Sphere panoramas, focus tracking, and hyperlapse for videos.

      DJI Mini 4 Pro Cameras

The new Mini 4 Pro will also have better low-light performance thanks to a new sensor with dual native ISO and some software tweaks. For starters, the (higher) native ISO setting allows for letting in more light without much noise. Secondly, DJI has also improved its noise reduction algorithm in Night Shots for even better clarity.

Besides that, there’s also a new (additional) accessory that will allow you to shoot wide video with a 100-degree FOV.

      D-Log M

Similarly, the Mini 4 Pro can shoot in Normal, D-LogM, and HLG (HDR) color profiles. D-Log M was available on the Mavic and Air series but now it has made its way into the Mini Pro. But what’s the difference between the D-Cinelike profile in the Mini 3 Pro and the D-log M in the newer Mini 4 Pro?

Simply put, D-Log M gives you more control over your footage in post-production. It has a wider dynamic range, which means it can capture more detail in both the highlights and shadows of an image. It also supports 10-bit color depth, which means that colors are reproduced more accurately and gradients are smoother. As a side effect, your shots might look desaturated right off the bat without any tinkering.

      Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance

Moving on, the drone carries the same Obstacle Avoidance feature as the Mini 3 Pro. It is now even better with Omni-Directional sensors (four fisheye vision sensors, binocular vision sensors, 3D ToF sensor) which provide 360 degrees of obstacle avoidance in the lateral field, upward and downward facing vision systems making it easier to control the drone mid-air.

      Design and Others

This Mini 3 Pro successor incorporates a lightweight body. It weighs 249 grams just like its predecessor. Talking of the battery life, the drone will provide 34 minutes of flight time which can be extended to 45 minutes with Intelligent Flight Battery Plus.

DJI Mini 4 Pro has the OcuSync 4 (O4) transmission system that offers improved range and signal stability. Now you can stream 1080p/60fps video to up to 20 km. That may not be especially useful if you are in Europe as the EU’s C0 drone regulations demand the drone stay in your line of sight.

The new Mini Pro also features Waypoints and Cruise Control that we’ve seen in other DJI drones before. Waypoints allow you to map a path before flights and have the drone fly by itself. You even can save the flight path to use it some other time. On the other hand, activating cruise control will allow the drone to fly at a steady pace until deactivated. Meanwhile, you can focus on the direction and maneuvering. This can be useful for getting smoother and more dynamic footage.
