DJI Tello Boost Combo

The DJI Tello is an 80-gram drone designed for beginners and educational use. It features a 5MP camera capable of recording 720p video at 30 fps, stabilized by Electronic Image Stabilization rather than a mechanical gimbal. Controlled primarily through a smartphone app via WiFi, it operates within a 100-meter range and doesn't require registration due to its lightweight design.

Performance

The drone achieves speeds up to 8 m/s in Sport mode and offers approximately 13 minutes of flight time per battery charge. It uses a downward vision system for stable hovering but lacks advanced obstacle avoidance. The 1100 mAh battery requires about 60 minutes to charge via Micro-USB, and video transmission is limited to 720p resolution at the same 100-meter range as its control signal.

Beyond basic flight, the Tello includes multiple automated flight modes like 8D flips, Bounce Mode, and EZ Shots (Circle, 360, Up & Away). It supports Scratch programming for educational purposes and is VR headset compatible. The Boost Combo version includes three batteries instead of one, significantly extending total potential flight time.
