Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 Overview:

      Design

Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 boasts a unique design with an aluminum ring, which makes it look similar to Saturn to some extent. The ring also works as a handle for you to carry around. Additionally, 3.2kg is not quite light, but nonetheless, the product is easy to carry around thanks to the handle. The front side of the speaker features buttons for power, volume up/down, Bluetooth, and a play button. One downside of having Onyx Studio 7 is that it isn't rated to protect against water. Other than that, there are three color options: Black, Gray, and Blue.

      Audio and Connectivity

For audio, there is a 120mm woofer as well as two 25mm tweeters. The dual tweeter contributes to the speaker producing stereo sound. Additionally, the company claims the drivers reproduce the frequencies between 50Hz to 20kHz. Also, Onyx Studio 7 outputs an RMS power of 50W. In terms of connectivity, Harman Kardon's Onyx Studio 7 ships with an outdated Bluetooth 4.2. Another thing to note is that the device comes with only an SBC codec. Nevertheless, this portable speaker can connect to multiple devices at the same time without interrupting each other.

      Battery

On the battery side, Onyx Studio 7 has an 11.70Wh (3250mAh) lithium polymer cell that goes on for 8 hours straight. But charging takes significantly longer, even with 38W charging support. It takes the speaker 5 hours to completely fuel the cell.
