Design

The HiFuture Sound Mini is a portable speaker with dimensions of 98 x 98 x 47.5mm and a weight of 170 grams. It is available in a black color option and features a circular design with a curved top and flat bottom, a little like a chocopie but flat. Additionally, the speaker's body is primarily constructed of plastic and includes a speaker grille covered with fabrics on the top. A thin LED stripe below the grille adds minimal aesthetic value. The plastic construction is prone to smudges, though. However, the Sound Mini from HiFuture is IPX4 water-resistant, providing some protection against minor water splashes.

Audio and Connectivity

The audio features a 40mm full-range driver, delivering an output of 5W RMS power. Further, Sound Mini has a frequency response range of 100Hz to 20kHz. There are two codecs supported here: SBC and CVSD. Moreover, an omnidirectional microphone is provided here for calling and voice assistance. In terms of connectivity, the HiFuture Sound Mini is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker supports stereo output, and users can pair two Sound Mini speakers for this effect. The controls, located at the bottom of the speaker, include buttons for power, volume adjustment, pairing, and activating the voice assistant. 

Battery

Likewise, Sound Mini houses an 1800mAh battery, providing around 12 hours of playback on average. The Type-C charging port accepts 5W DC input, and the speaker takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%.
