Honor has unveiled its flagship for the year, the Magic 7 Pro, alongside the regular Magic 7 model. The Pro version comes equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and boasts upgrades in areas like the camera, display, and more.
Honor Magic 7 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
Like the standard Magic 7, the Magic 7 Pro maintains a design similar to its predecessor, with a slightly curved glass back and a circular camera housing. Furthermore, the quad-curved display has been flattened this year, offering a more subtle curve around the edges. The phone comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It also features a 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Reader and 3D Face Recognition. These features are not available on the regular Magic 7.
The device sports a 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Along with that it comes with a dynamic refresh rate between 1 and 120Hz. Additionally, the display has multiple eye-care features, including a Circular Polarized Display, dry eye-friendly settings, and the HONOR AI Defocus Display.
Chipset and Battery
Under the hood, the Honor Magic 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, it offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The device is equipped with a 5850mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. It also includes an E2 Efficiency Chip for optimized battery management.
Camera
The Magic 7 Pro boasts an impressive camera system: a 50MP main sensor (OVH9000) with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with 2.5cm Super Macro Mode, and a 200MP telephoto camera with a 3X periscope setup. Moreover, the front camera is a 50MP sensor capable of shooting 4K video.
