Honor has officially lifted the curtain on its latest flagship lineup, introducing the Magic 8 Pro alongside the standard Magic 8. The Pro model brings notable refinements across performance, display technology, and imaging, powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.

      Honor Magic 8 Pro Overview

      Design and Display

The Magic 8 Pro continues Honor’s signature design language but with a cleaner, more polished execution. It features a slightly curved glass back paired with a large circular camera island. Honor has also refined the front with a gentler quad-curved panel that now feels flatter and practical around the edges. The device carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection for dust and water resistance, and it also offers a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner as well as 3D facial recognition.

Up front, you get a 6.71-inch AMOLED display that reaches up to 6,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, along with a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate. Honor has bundled multiple eye-care technologies as well, such as Circular Polarization, dry-eye comfort modes, and the company’s AI Defocus Display.

      Chipset and Battery

Inside, the Magic 8 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. A massive 7100mAh battery powers the device, supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Honor has also included its E2 power-efficiency chip to further improve battery longevity and thermal management.

      Camera

For photography, the Magic 8 Pro packs a powerful triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter that also doubles as a 2.5cm macro camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.7X optical zoom. On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera capable of recording in 4K.
