The Honor X7b is an affordable phone and a 2024 follow-up to the Honor X7a. Let’s take a brief look at the latest Honor phone over here.
Honor X7b Overview
Design and Display
The Honor X7b comes in what the company defines as the 63° quad-curved design. This is to say that, the phone’s back panel is curved. It ships in three finishes — Flowing Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black. The first of the three options comes with flowy reflective patterns, while the latter two have a slightly glittery monotone finish.
On the front, you get a 6.8-inch flat display with a TFT LCD panel. The panel on the Honor X7b is not the greatest, however, it does offer FHD+ resolution as well as a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, you also get a peak brightness of 850 nits along with a colour depth of 16.7 million.
Performance and the rest
The performance of the Honor X7b is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. It is a 4G-only chipset that was released over two years ago. Looking at the Nanoreview rating of the silicon, we can see that it prioritises battery efficiency more than anything else. The Honor X7b comes in two memory and two storage options. That being said, you get either 6GB or 8GB memory. On the other hand, you get 128GB or 256GB storage. You can also virtually extend the RAM by 8GB and expand the storage via a MicroSD card as well.
In the optics department, you get a triple camera setup led by a 108MP primary sensor. The auxiliary lenses include a 5MP ultrawide shooter and a filler 2MP depth camera. On the front, the Honor X7b equips an 8MP shooter. In the tank, you get a large 6,000 mAh battery with 35W Honor SuperCharge support.
