HP 15 2024 (FC0043NQ) Overview
Design and Ports
Talking about the design, the HP 15 2024 (FC0043NQ) comes in a single colour option, i.e., Grey, with a sandblasted aluminum cover and keyboard frame that give it a clean and modern look. It's not the lightest machine around at 1.53 kg, but it carries its weight well for a 15-inch device. You also get a full-size backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad built in.
The screen is a 15.6-inch FHDÂ IPS LCD with an anti-glare coating and 250 nits of brightness. The 45% NTSC colour gamut is not for anyone who is into photography or editing, but for everyday use and casual media consumption, it holds up fine.Â
On the port side, you're covered with a USB Type-C, two USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Performance
Under the hood, we have an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor, which comes with a 4-core, 6-thread chip with a 4MB L3 cache that turbo boosts up to 4.3 GHz. Talking about the chip, it is quite capable for day-to-day tasks without any issues. Graphics are handled by the integrated AMD Radeon 610M GPU. We also get 16GB of LPDDR5-5500 MHz RAM and a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
