Starting, the EliteBook 640 G11 has the usual clean business look in a slim design and lightweight build at around 1.39 kg. It also sticks to a durable build with a compact footprint and thin chassis. On the display side, you get a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, anti-glare coating, and 300 nits brightness. The panel has a typical refresh rate of 60Hz.

Performance and Software

On the processor side, the model runs on the Intel Core Ultra 7 165U processor with a hybrid core setup and up to 4.9GHz boost on performance cores. If you are looking for a performance-centric chip, then this laptop might not be for you. As it staggeringly struggles with heavy rendering or anything that requires extensive power. However, HP has still provided a massive 32GB DDR5 RAM, which is already higher than most laptops in this segment, and supports expansion up to 64GB. Similarly, storage is also handled by a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Moreover, it comes with Windows 11 out of the box and uses integrated Intel graphics.

Features and Connectivity

As mentioned earlier, this is clearly a business and office-centered laptop, and it might be only useful for those who are looking for a laptop for basic office tasks. Similarly, you get a 5MP webcam with IR and privacy shutter, a spill-resistant backlit keyboard, and a full set of ports including dual Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, and Ethernet.
