HP Notebook 14-ep Overview

Design and Ports

Talking about the design, the HP Notebook 14-ep comes in a Natural Silver colour option, giving it a clean and simple look. It weighs around 1.40 kg, making it a lightweight option for students and professionals who need to carry their laptop around.

The screen is a 14-inch FHD display with a micro-edge design, anti-glare coating, and 250 nits of brightness. The 62.5% sRGB colour gamut is not ideal for professional photo editing, but it should be fine for everyday use, office work, and casual media consumption.

On the port side, you're covered with one USB Type-C port supporting USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4b, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4b, and a headphone/mic combo jack.

Performance

Under the hood, we have an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor with 14 cores, 18 threads, 18MB of L3 cache, and a boost clock of up to 4.5GHz. Talking about the chip, it should handle day-to-day tasks, multitasking, office work, and coding without much trouble. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Graphics. We also get 8GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.
