HP has launched its new OmniBook 7 Aero in Nepal with AMD’s Ryzen AI Processor with cool AI-based interesting features.

Design and Display

Okay, starting with the design, this all-new HP Omnibook 7 Aero comes with a very perimum and light build. An interesting part about its build is that HP says this laptop weighs less than a kg (0.997 kg to be exact), making it one of the few laptops in this weight category. It also doesn’t have any funky or bold design, keeping the laptop clean and professional.

Moving on display, here we get a 13.3-inch IPS display with a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. Some of the notable features of this display are that it has 400nits of peak brightness, an anti-glare coating, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% sRGB color coverage.

Performance and Memory

Inside the OmniBook 7 Aero, we get an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 AI processor with  6 “Zen 5” cores and 12 threads. For graphics, we get a powerful integrated Radeon 840M GPU, and the device comes with 16GB of DDR5 (LPDDR5x-7500 MT/s) and a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe Gen 4 ×4).

For AI tasks and processing, the OmniBook 7 Aero comes with a dedicated NPU with up to 50 TOPS of performance for on-device AI workloads. On top of that, HP has included its own AI Companion tool as well, which works offline to help analyze documents and improve system performance.

Connectivity and battery

The Omnibook 7 Aero supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Whereas it has a couple of USB-C connections with up to 10Gbps data rate, alongside a couple of USB-A, an HDMI 2.1, and one 3.5mm audio jack.

Powering the laptop is a 43Wh battery. It fuels up via a 65W adapter, which HP says can take the laptop to 50% in just 30 minutes.
