HP ProBook 440 G11 Overview
Display and Design
The ProBook 440 G11 sits in HP’s business laptop range, which is not very popular if one looks at laptops in the same range. But these laptops are still good for offices, students, and general users. It keeps the same familiar ProBook design but updates the internals with newer Intel Core Ultra processors and faster memory.
Globally, HP offers multiple configurations of this laptop. That includes different processors, displays, cameras, and even optional discrete graphics. But in Nepal, only one main configuration is currently available through retailers. Getting into finer details, let’s start with its design. In terms of build, it uses an aluminum top cover, weighs around 1.39 kg, and has dimensions of 318.52 × 224.28 × 17.02 mm.
On the other hand, the laptop features a 14-inch WUXGA display with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel used in the Nepal variant is the standard 300-nit model with 45% NTSC coverage. HP also offers brighter 400-nit and higher-resolution panels globally, but those versions are not available locally right now.
Performance and Hardware
The Nepal model ships with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor. This is a slightly older Intel’s newer Meteor Lake lineup, but these chips are decent for normal everyday use. HP also sells Core Ultra 7 variants globally, but those haven’t shown up in Nepal yet. Anyway, the laptop comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel graphics. Some global models even offer optional NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPUs.
Ports and Extras
The ProBook 440 G11 includes a standard port selection. You get a USB-C port, USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack. Similarly, for connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, whereas for the webcam, the laptop features a standard HD webcam. Similarly, battery capacity is also rated at 56Wh.
