Display and Design

The Huawei Watch GT 6 is available in two sizes: 46mm and 41mm, each featuring a bright and sharp AMOLED display. The larger model features a 1.47-inch screen, while the smaller one gets a 1.32-inch panel, both offering the exact 466×466 resolution. Huawei has also added sapphire glass protection for extra durability. The 46mm model now reaches an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a significant increase from last year’s GT 5 Pro, which should make it easier to see even under direct sunlight.

Battery and Charging

Battery life has always been one of the strong points for Huawei’s smartwatches, and the GT 6 continues this legacy. You can expect up to two weeks of use on light mode, or about a week with regular use. It supports wireless charging and takes roughly 2.5 hours to go from empty to full. Additionally, it works seamlessly with both Android devices (9.0 and above) and iOS devices (13 and above)through the Huawei Health app.

Health and Fitness Tracking

Huawei has enhanced its health tracking features with the new TruSense sensor. It can monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen level (SpO₂), temperature, stress, and sleep patterns more accurately than before. The company claims cycling accuracy is now up to 98% and trail running around 95%, thanks to refined algorithms and a better antenna design. You can even pair it with external sensors, such as heart rate straps and cadence meters, for more detailed statistics.

Connectivity and Software

The watch runs on Huawei’s latest wearable OS 6.0.It supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS. We can use Huawei Health for tracking other health-related features.
