Design and Display

The Hot 40 series follows a similar flat design with a rear camera island housing three lenses. The Infinix Hot 40i comes in four color options: Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, Palm Blue, and Starfall Green. It measures 8.30 mm in thickness and weighs 190 grams.

On the front, the device sports a 6.56-inch IPS a-Si LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels (HD+), a 180Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 480 nits, and supports the DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

Performance

The Infinix Hot 40i is powered by a UNISOC T606 chipset paired with a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. The processor can reach a peak clock speed of 1,600 MHz, while the GPU operates at 650 MHz.
It comes with two memory options: 4 GB and 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For storage, users can choose between 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB via a MicroSD card. Additionally, the phone supports up to 8 GB of virtual RAM extension.

Camera Setup         

The Infinix Hot 40i features a dual-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main camera and an AI camera of unspecified resolution. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera housed in a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout.

Battery and Additional Features

The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It also offers dual SIM functionality with 4G connectivity. Wireless features include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC (available in certain regions). The phone also has a headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the Infinix Hot 40i introduces the “Magic Ring” feature, which displays information such as face unlock, charging status, and call notifications.
