Are you looking for a good midrange smartphone? Then you might want to check out the Infinix Note 40! Moreover, this phone comes with a unique feature that sets it apart from the rest of the offerings in its price range. Let's discuss further.
Infinix Note 40 Overview
Design and Display
In terms of Infinix Note 40 looks pretty uninspiring. It has the standard flat frames with a squircle camera island. But it has something interesting going on here. It comes with an “Active Halo” that sits alongside the flash and glows up in different conditions like when you get a call or message, or when your phone is charging. Other than that, the phone has an IP54 rating and ships in Titan Gold and Obsidian Black colours. On the front, it has a 6.78-inch panel with quite slim bezels. The panel on the Infinix Note 40 is an AMOLED with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen offers a brightness of up to 1,300 nits and a DCI-P3 colour gamut along with FHD+ resolution. Likewise, it is capable of a 1,500Hz instant touch sampling rate, however, only operates with a frequency of up to 360Hz. The screen is also capable of 2,160Hz PWM dimming.
Performance and the rest
The MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor drives the primary performance on this phone with eight cores, 6nm fabrication, and a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. Additional hardware on the Infinix Note 40 includes up to 8GB RAM coupled with up to 256GB storage. Other than that, you can virtually extend the memory by up to 8GB while the situation regarding storage expansion is up in the air. In terms of optics, this phone comes with three cameras on the back. It has a large 108MP primary shooter and is coupled with two absolutely useless dummy units. In the meantime, you get a 32MP unit on the front. In the tank, the Infinix Note 40 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support. Not only that, it is also capable of 20W wireless MagCharge. This feature is similar to Apple's MagSafe with built-in magnets allowing for the phone to attach to the charge. Or you could also attach accessories to your phone. Lastly, it is a 4G-only phone.
