Design and Display

The Insta360 GO Ultra features a compact 53g wearable design built for hands-free POV shooting. Its magnetic mounting system allows the camera to be attached to different accessories, while the camera can be rotated between portrait and landscape orientations for more flexible shooting.

The camera works with the Action Pod, which features a 2.5-inch flip touchscreen for framing shots, adjusting settings, reviewing footage, and controlling the camera remotely. The lightweight body also makes the GO Ultra convenient for travel, vlogging, cycling, and everyday content creation.

Camera and Performance

The GO Ultra uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor and supports up to 50MP still photos. For video, it can record up to 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps for slow-motion footage. It also includes PureVideo mode for improved low-light recording and 4K Active HDR for scenes with challenging lighting.

For stabilization, the camera uses FlowState Stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock to keep footage smooth and level while moving. It also supports features such as 4K 2x Clarity Zoom, voice control, gesture control, and AI-powered audio processing for clearer recordings.

Battery and Storage

The Insta360 GO Ultra has a 500mAh battery, while the Action Pod comes with a larger 1,450mAh battery. The standalone camera can record for up to 70 minutes, while using it with the Action Pod extends total runtime to up to 200 minutes, depending on the recording mode.

For storage, the GO Ultra supports microSD cards with capacities of up to 2TB, giving users plenty of room for high-resolution photos and videos. The camera also supports fast charging, making it easier to quickly top up the battery between shooting sessions.
