Design and Display
The Insta360 X4 comes in a compact and rugged design, weighing 203g and measuring 123 x 46 x 26.3mm. It features a larger 2.5-inch touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protection and comes with a removable standard lens guard for extra protection during outdoor shooting. It is also waterproof up to 10 feet.
Camera and Performance
The X4 is Insta360’s first 8K camera, featuring a 1/2-inch sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. It can record 8K 360° video at 30fps, 5.7K at 60fps, and 4K at up to 100fps. It also supports 4K 60fps single-lens recording, 72MP photos, and 6-axis stabilization.
Storage and Battery
The camera supports UHS-I V30 microSD cards with up to 1TB of storage, giving us plenty of room for high-resolution 360° video. Its 2,290mAh battery offers up to 75 minutes of 8K recording or 135 minutes at 5.7K. Charging takes around 55 minutes using an 18W charger.
