The iPhone 17 Pro showcases a robust aluminum bodied design complemented by a Ceramic Shield 2 front and back as well. This build all together gives it a weight of 206 grams. Moreover, the handset is also certified with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, allowing submersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes. The available color options include Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue.
On the front, the device boasts a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2622 x 1206 pixels at 460 ppi. The display supports ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120 Hz, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. The typical brightness can reach up to 1000 nits, while in HBM it reaches 1600 for HDR content as well as a peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits.
Performance and Cameras
Every iteration of the Apple device gets an upgrade in performance, and it's the same case here. Therefore, the iPhone 17 Pro is powered by the new Apple A19 Pro (3 nm) chip, which includes a hexa-core CPU with 2 performance and 4 efficiency cores. While the graphics are handled by a 6-core Apple GPU with Neural Accelerators. The device operates on iOS 26, which comes with its own set of unique features. Meanwhile, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for storage paired with a fixed 8GB of RAM. Moreover, it supports 25W MagSafe/Qi2 charging.
