JBL Flip 7 Overview:
Sound and Performance
The JBL Flip 7 comes with an independent tweeter, a race-track-shaped mid-bass driver. It also features dual passive radiators, which together provide balanced sound with deep bass.
Durability and Build
The JBL Flip 7 is small and portable, measuring 182.5 x 69.5 x 71.5 mm and weighing only 0.56 kg. The top has easy-to-use buttons for volume and play/pause, while the side has a power button, Bluetooth controller, and an Auracast button for smooth connectivity. On the back, there is a USB-C charging port and a gray lanyard that we can swap for a carabiner with JBL’s PushLock System, making it more versatile. The speaker is IP68-rated, meaning it is resistant to dust, water immersion (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), and accidental drops. It comes in White, Black, Purple, Camo, Red, and Blue colors.
Wireless and Connectivity
It uses Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast for connecting multiple speakers together for better sound. The Flip 7 supports lossless audio with a USB Type-C input and high-quality DAC. It provides up to 14 hours of playback, with a Playtime Boost feature that adds 2 more hours, but this reduces bass and overall sound quality. You can also explore the Flip 7 features with the JBL Portable app.
