Design

To begin with, Josh Spacebuds MAX are in-ear buds with silicone tips, ensuring a secure fit and passive isolation. The stem and the line going around the case's lid have a metallic finish, hence making it also a fashion accessory, as per the company. Similarly, the IPX4 rating is one of the features you might care about when splashing water or sweat impacts your earbuds. And, these support touch controls and with that, various gestures to make your life easier.

Audio

In the audio department, the Spacebuds MAX shines with large 13mm drivers. With four integrated microphones, they provide ENC, resulting in clear calls. However, it's important to note that these earbuds do not feature ANC like typical budget earbuds. Nonetheless, the latency is acceptable, claims Josh.

Additional audio features in Spacebuds Glide ANC include Game Mode for up to 60 ms of latency and Ambient Mode (transparency mode) for being aware of your surroundings without getting rid of the earbuds from your ears.

Battery

I would say battery life is a strong suit for the Spacebuds MAX, as it offers 40 hours of playback on a single charge. Moreover, they support quick charging; just a 5-minute charge provides 60 minutes of playtime.

The earbuds also feature the most recent Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C for connectivity. The inclusion of Fast Wake & Pair ensures swift connection with the lid open.
