Phantom Buds X Pro Overview
Design and Build
The Kick Phantom Buds X Pro keep the in-ear form factor but add a slightly sturdier build. Kick rates them IPX7 water-resistant, which is a step up from the regular Phantom Buds X. There’s nothing flashy about the design; in fact, the X Pro has more changes in finish and features slightly chunkier stems.
Sound and Noise Cancellation
Kick has upgraded the ANC to 40dB Pro, which should noticeably reduce background noise from traffic, appliances, or busy streets. The earbuds also use HeyLink Audio’s Adaptive EQ, which automatically adjusts the sound depending on the content.
Inside, each earbud has a 12.4mm dynamic driver, producing bass-forward sound with balanced mids and highs. They have also provided a quad Mic ENC that Kick ensures your voice will stay clear throughout the time using it.
Battery and Connectivity
The Phantom Buds X Pro deliver up to 60 hours of total playback with the charging case. They also claim that a quick 10-minute charge provides about 100 minutes of use. Kick also includes a 45ms low-latency mode.
