Design and Display

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is 359.30 x 235.00 x 17.90 mm in dimensions and is pretty easy to carry around at around 1.62 kilograms. It is available in the Abyss Blue colour option with a plastic build. It features a full-size keyboard with a dedicated number pad.

It sports a 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel of (1920 x 1080) resolution. The screen is a non-touch unit and can reach a maximum brightness of 250 nits.

Performance and Memory

The Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 40 processor, which comes with 4 cores and up to a 4.3 GHz boost clock. It is then coupled with AMD's proprietary Radeon graphics.

Similarly, the IdeaPad Slim 3 comes with soldered 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. At purchase, you get 512GB M.2 2280 SSD for long-term storage. Though you cannot upgrade the RAM in this laptop, you can upgrade the SSD to 1TB later down the road. Furthermore, this laptop can handle some lightweight gaming as well.

Battery and Connectivity 

Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 ships with a 47 Wh battery. Similarly, for the charger, it comes with a 65W power adapter.

As for port selection, you get two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a card reader, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, and a power connector. At the same time, wireless connectivity on the Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 consists of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 technology.
