Design, Display

The brand-new Lenovo LOQ features a plastic body and top. There's a subtle "LOQ" branding on the top left corner of the laptop's lid and a "Lenovo" branding on the bottom right. The laptop weighs about 2.4 kg and comes in a single finish: Storm Grey.

Upfront, you're getting a 15.6" Full HD IPS LCD screen with an anti-glare coating on top. Likewise, the LOQ (2023) is available with three display configurations in total:

• 60Hz refresh rate, 350 nits brightness, 45% NTSC
• 144Hz refresh rate, 350 nits brightness, 45% NTSC
• 165Hz refresh rate, 350 nits brightness, 100% sRGB

Performance

In terms of performance, this gaming laptop brings AMD + NVIDIA combo. Lenovo LOQ (2023) is available with two CPU choices, i.e. Ryzen 5  7640HS and Ryzen 7 7840HS, whereas GPU options range from RTX 3050 to RTX 4060. Only the RTX 4060 (115W) is currently available in Nepal. The GPU has been complemented with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

As for memory, you can install up to 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM here. The LOQ (2023)'s base model usually arrives with 512GB SSD, but you can bump it up to 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD as well.

Port options on the LOQ (2023) include 1x USB 2.0 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x RJ45, 1x 3.5mm combo audio jack, and an E-shutter button on the right. Contrary to a physical webcam shutter, this button toggles the camera on/off.

When it comes to battery, this gaming laptop has been paired with a 60-Wh battery. Similarly, it fuels up via a 230W AC adapter.
