The Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15IAX9) is a gaming laptop that comes with a good set of hardware. This includes a combination of a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 discrete graphics card. In addition to that, you also get 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD on this thing. It can be upgraded further to quadruple the memory and double the storage capacity. On the front, it dons a 15.6-inch IPS LCD panel that stretches FHD in resolution and offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15IAX9) is a gaming laptop that comes in a rather sleek design with a noticeable protrusion on the back. The chassis is made out of PC-ABS, however, it does boast the MIL-STD-810H certification. It comes in Luna Grey colouring and weighs nearly two and a half kilos. As for the ports, you get plenty — three USB-A, one USB-C, an HDMI port, one combo audio jack, an ethernet, and a power-in socket.
The Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15IAX9) comes with a wide 15.6-inch display of FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution with a high 144Hz refresh rate. It is an IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits peak brightness, and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. The keyboard has white backlighting whereas the touchpad comes with PTP support.
Performance and the rest
Other than that, the Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15IAX9) ensures smooth performance with the combination of 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450HX processor and NVIDIA RTX 2050. The processor has eight (four performance + four efficiency) cores, 12 threads, and 12MB of L3 cache. It can also go up to 4.4 GHz of max clock speed. As for the GPU, NVIDIA's RTX 2050, with a maximum TGP of 65W supports graphical workloads. In addition, Lenovo has also included an LA1 AI chip to improve FPS in games.
In addition to the CPU and GPU combo, the Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15IAX9) ships with dual-channel memory. This particular model comes with 8GB DDR5-4800 RAM, which can be further upgraded to 32GB. Furthermore, there are two M.2 2280 slots, one of which is preoccupied with a 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. For power, it packs an integrated 60Wh battery that supports Super Rapid Charge Pro.
