Design and Display
Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15ARP9) is a gaming laptop that comes in a rather sleek design with a noticeable protrusion on the back. The chassis is made out of PC-ABS and weighs nearly two and a half kilos. As for the ports, you get plenty — three USB-A, one USB-C, an HDMI port, and one combo audio jack. Additionally, there is also an ethernet jack and a power-in socket. It comes in only one colour option i.e. Luna Grey.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15ARP9) comes with a wide 15.6-inch display of FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution with a high 144Hz refresh rate. It is an IPS panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio with 300 nits peak brightness and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. The keyboard has 4-Zone RGB backlighting whereas the touchpad comes with PTP support.
Performance and the rest
The Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15ARP9) relies on the AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS processor and NVIDIA RTX 4050 for its performance. The processor has eight cores, 16 threads, and 16MB of L3 cache. It can also go up to 4.5 GHz of max clock speed. As for the GPU, NVIDIA's RTX 4050, with a maximum TGP of 105W supports graphical workloads. In addition, Lenovo has also included an LA1 AI chip to improve FPS in games.
In addition to the CPU and GPU combo, the Lenovo LOQ 2024 (15ARP9) ships with dual-channel memory. This particular model comes with 16GB DDR5-4800 RAM, which can be further upgraded to 32GB. Furthermore, there are two M.2 2280 slots, one of which is preoccupied with an M.2 2242 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. For power, it packs an integrated 60Wh battery that supports Super Rapid Charge Pro. This technology can juice the laptop to 50% in just 30 minutes via the 170W adapter that ships in the box.
