The Lenovo V15 G3 (2022) comes in the classic Lenovo design with a monotone finish and the company branding at the edge of the lid on a metallic strip. It comes in an Iron Grey colour option. Moreover, the laptop features a full-size keyboard with a number pad and measures 1.70 kg or more. This thing has also passed the MIL-STD-810H military certification.

On the front, we have a 15.6” display with an FHD resolution spanning 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Additionally, it comes in a 16:9 aspect ratio, has a matte finish with no touchscreen support, and offers a 45% NTSC colour gamut. As per Lenovo, the screen either be a TN panel with 250 nits of peak brightness or an IPS panel with 300 nits of maximum luminosity. Whichever it is, the viewing experience on this display will be passable at best.

Performance

The 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor handles the primary computing on the Lenovo V15 G3 (2022). This silicone comes with 10 cores eight of which are efficiency cores while the other two are dedicated for performance. Other than that, this processor has 12 threads, a 12MB cache, and a peak clock speed of 4.4 GHz. Meanwhile, the Intel Iris Xe baked inside the chip itself handles the graphics.

In addition to that, this laptop comes with 8GB soldered memory. It is a DDR4 RAM with a 3,200 MHz frequency. Similarly, a 512GB SSD handles the storage over here. Furthermore, the Lenovo V15 G3 (2022) offers an attractive amount of upgradability. Even though the memory on this laptop is soldered, it also comes with a SO-DIMM slot with up to 8GB RAM support. On the other hand, you can swap out the M.2 2242 SSD with a 1TB capacity.
