Design and Display

Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 (14IML9) — as its name suggests — is a convertible laptop with a fully rotatable hinge. It is 16.64 mm thick and weighs almost one and a half kilograms. This laptop comes in an aluminium body with a monotone finish. Its lid flaunts both the company as well as series branding and ships in Storm Grey and Tidal Teal colour options.

On the front, you have multiple options of panels. However, this particular model comes with a 14-inch OLED panel with touch support. Here, you get a WUXGA resolution spanning 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. Meanwhile, the display on the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 (14IML9) has a glossy anti-fingerprint finish and covers a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Lastly, you get 400 nits of brightness and a standard 60Hz refresh rate on this laptop.

Performance and the rest

Under the hood, this Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 2024 packs the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor. The silicon packs 16 cores, 22 threads, and clocks in at a peak of 4.8GHz. Additionally, you get the Intel Arc integrated GPU on this laptop with eight cores and a maximum frequency of 2.25GHz. It also has an in-built AI accelerator offering performance up to 11 TOPS.

Other than that, you get two 8GB RAM soldered onto the board. The Yoga 7 2-in-1 (14IML9) does not have an option for memory expansion. Meanwhile, for storage, you get a 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. It is the maximum amount of storage you can get on this laptop. There is no extra slot for additional SSD either.

In the tank, you get an integrated 71Wh lithium-polymer battery with Rapid Charge Express support. With this, the laptop can offer up to three hours of runtime with just 15 minutes of charge. In the meantime, the power adapter you get in the box is a 3-pin 65W unit with a USB-C charging interface.
