Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 2022 (Ryzen 7) Overview :

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro, or simply Slim 7 Pro, is a premium ultrabook with a great display and decent battery life. It weighs just under 1.4 kg, making it an ideal everyday carry. With its fast memory and capable processor, it’ll breeze through most school or office work and multimedia use cases. But the lack of discrete graphics might become apparent when you deal with graphics-heavy work like video editing or playing high-end games. Here’s a brief overview of the design aesthetic, chipset, and battery life of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 2022 (Ryzen 7).

Design and Build 

Since the Slim 7 Pro is a premium device, you can expect a flagship-grade build. Both the top and bottom of the laptop are made up of aluminum, and the surface is treated with Aluminium stamping. The screen is a 14″ IPS panel of 2.8K (2880×1800) resolution. It is a 90Hz display that covers 100% sRGB gamut. Slim 7 Pro’s display supports Dolby Vision, has an Anti-glare finish, and can reach 400 nits of brightness. The laptop’s 180° hinge allows it to lay horizontally across a table.

Performance and Memory 

Yoga Slim 7 pro is powered by AMD’s 6000 series processor. The Ryzen 7 6800HS is a mid-level chip that can do most things without a hitch. The Intel variant of the same device features a dedicated Geforce MX550 GPU which is missing in the AMD version. That said, the Ryzen version features the new Radeom 660M integrated graphics based on the RDNA 2 microarchitecture. The RAM, on the other hand, is top-of-the-line DDR5 memory. This variant has 16GB of this DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of M.2 2280 SSD.

Connectivity and Extras

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro ships with the industry standard WiFi  6 and Bluetooth 5.1 technology. It houses a 61Wh-rated lithium-polymer battery and comes with a 100Wh charging adapter in the box. As for the ports, you get a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port (always on), 2 USB C ports (1x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB 4, which supports 40Gbps data transfer), and one 3.5mm port.
