Design

Marshall Motif A.N.C. is the second TWS earphone from the company. Hence, it is the first one to fit in the ear, the first one (Minor III) being open-fitted. The earpieces boast an oval base with a slim, knurled stem at the bottom.

The earpieces themselves have an IPX5 rating. Here, the case also gets a water protection rating of IPX4. They are even lightweight, weighing around 4.25 g or 0.15 oz each. For the charging case, there is a similar leather finish as on the Minor III. The difference is that the case is longer horizontally and the button is on the sides rather than the bottom. Here, the only color option provided is Black, so you have no option.

Audio related features

Moving to the audio, the Motif gets a 6 mm driver with an impedance of 16Ω. The company markets it to have Marshall's signature sound. And SBC is provided as a basic codec for Android users and AAC for iOS devices. Yes, the main highlight in Motif ANC is the ANC, as if the name is not enough to indicate it. Additionally, if you want to amplify the background sound, transparency mode is provided.

Battery and charging

Marshall's Motif ANC is rated to last for a 6-hour time frame. However, with the ANC enabled all the time, the time reduces to 4.5 hours of playtime. Furthermore, the case adds up to 26 hours of life for buds (20 if ANC is enabled). Besides, both the buds and the case charge for around 3 hours each. Wireless charging is also supported for the TWS.
