Marshall Tufton Overview:
Design
The Marshall Tufton is a portable speaker with dimensions measuring 229×163×350 mm and weighing 4900 grams. Available in Black and brass or Black, this portable speaker features a metal grille at the front and a leather pattern all over its body. Similarly, at the top are all the controls, including knobs for bass, treble, and volume. Moreover, there are Bluetooth buttons and a battery indicator on either side of the controls. With an IPX2 water-resistant rating and flush-mounted corner caps, the Tufton speaker is exceptionally rugged.

Audio
Equipped with a powerful driver system, the Tufton speaker features a 133mm woofer, two 50mm tweeters, and a 16mm full-range driver. Additionally, the speaker utilizes Class D amplifiers, with the woofer powered by a 40W amp and the tweeters by two 15W amps. Plus, a 16-watt amp powers the full-range drivers.
Connectivity
Offering Bluetooth 5.0 technology, the Tufton speaker allows wireless music to play within a range of up to 30 feet. In addition to that, it supports connectivity via an aux-in port too. Further, Tufton includes a unique feature called "Stack Mode," which enables connection and synchronization with other compatible devices. Additionally, the speaker boasts multi-host functionality, allowing seamless switching between two Bluetooth-connected devices.
Battery
One of Tufton's strengths is its battery life, providing 20+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge. Furthermore, the speaker supports quick charging, with just 20 minutes of charging offering 4 hours of playtime. For reference, a full charge can be achieved in 2.5 hours, providing the flexibility to use it on the go.
