Marshall Willen II Overview
Design
The Willen II measures 100.5 x 100.5 x 43.4 mm, making it slightly larger than the original model.
The Willen II maintains its outdoor usability with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. The speaker can withstand submersion in up to 1 m (~3.3 ft) of water for 30 minutes. It also retains the built-in microphone for hands-free calls and includes a strap for carrying around easily.
Features and Battery
The speaker introduces Bluetooth LE Audio with Auracast, which will be available through a future OTA update. This upgrade allows the speaker to connect directly with other units. Additionally, the battery life has been extended to 17 hours, up from the 15-hour runtime of the first model. The speaker also features Bluetooth multipoint connectivity and has a ‘Marshall Bluetooth’ as an app companion.
