Design

Mivi Roam 2 features a completely different design from its predecessor. This rectangular speaker has an aircraft-grade aluminum grill at the front and a lanyard at the side to carry the speaker around. Further, the speaker measures 100 x 40 x 85mm and weighs 204 grams—not too shabby.

At the top of the Roam 2 are four control buttons. They are for power on/off, play/pause, and volume/track up/down. Similarly, the audio device is IPX7-rated for water protection. Additionally, the speaker is available in Black, Green, Red, and Blue colors.

Audio and Connectivity

We do not know the size of the driver provided in Mivi Roam 2. What we know is that the driver outputs 5 W of RMS power. Plus, there is a built-in mic for hands-free calling. Moreover, with the TWS mode enabled, you can use two similar speakers for stereo sound.

The connectivity of Roam 2 includes Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connections. The device stays connected for a range of up to 10 meters. In addition to that, you have the option to connect it using wires, thanks to the AUX port at the top.

Battery

On the flip side, there is a 2000 mAh cell that contributes to its weight. It lasts 24 hours on 70% volume. Furthermore, the micro-USB charger it comes with is assumed to charge Roam 2 within 4 hours.
