Here’s a quick overview of the Motorola Moto G85 5G:
Motorola Moto G85 5G Overview
Design and Display
The Moto G85 5G continues the G-series design tradition with a camera island that seamlessly blends into its back panel. Likewise comes in three colours: Olive Green and Cobalt Blue with a vegan leather finish and urban grey with a standard PMMA material. Similarly, the front features a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED display with FHD+ resolution, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, along with 10-bit colour depth covering the DCI-P3 colour space.
Performance
Talking about the performance, it is powered by the newly released Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip, a refreshed version of the Snapdragon 695 5G found in its predecessor, the Moto G84 5G. This makes it the first device to feature this updated Qualcomm processor.
The Moto G85 5G is offered in two memory configurations: 8GB and 12GB of RAM. For internal storage, it comes with a single option of 256GB, which should accommodate most users’ needs. In addition to its generous built-in storage, the phone supports significant expandability. You can enhance the device’s memory by up to 1TB using a MicroSD card, effectively doubling its available storage and ensuring ample space for apps, photos, and other data.
Camera
The Moto G85 5G features a dual-camera system on the rear, including a 50MP primary lens with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens that also functions as a macro shooter. For selfies and face recognition, it has a 32MP front-facing camera.
Likewise, the phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It also includes stereo speakers, a dual-microphone setup, and supports 5G connectivity, WiFi 5, Bluetooth v5.1, and NFC. Additionally, the Moto G85 5G offers eSIM support for a dual SIM experience.
